Renee's Story
Hello to old friends at Dothan High and Jefferson City High classes of 1977. You were both amazing!
I've missed most of the reunions because I'm usually working for the most amazing photographer in the world on Saturdays, Linda Nichols, Linda's Studio in Jefferson City, MO. FYI, WE TRAVEL! Whether it's out of state or out of country, well, she usually does the out of country stuff by herself since it is cheaper for the customer and I have a little trouble traveling or at least I did from 2001-2004. LOL! That story is for another time.
I was married to the love of my life and STILL the ice cream in my root beer float - in August of 1978 to a local man. He's amazing!!!! If the JC, MO crowd know me, they know Kevin also and KNOW how wonderful he is. We have two amazing, handsome, smart sons, currently 28 and 19 years...Expand for more
old. My oldest, John has a beautiful, wonderful wife and they have blessed me with "THE BEST THING" since sliced bread, a grandchild! Our youngest, Matt was out on his own last August so Kevin and I are empty nesters. It's nice but we miss our kids, all three of them, plus, baby.
God has been really, really good to me over these last 31 years! I am very blessed. This year has been better than last year because for several years now we have suffered great loss. First my Grandmother 2 years ago and then Kevin's Aunt last year and his mom 3 weeks later. The joke was that now all the couples and all the family gone before these great ladies are up in heaven playing cards together. (If there is such a thing....LOL!)
