Life
Quick Bio: after moving from Yarnell to Peoria, graduating from Cactus High in Glendale I joined the Navy as a Hospital Corpsman. Stationed in San Diego and Irvine, I traveled all over California, Nevada and overseas to Iwakuni, Japan and Osan, Korea. I met my husband who is a Marine on the (now closed) base of MCAS El Toro in 1990, and in 1992 we were married. After a 5 year hitch with the Navy, we decided only one of us could be in the service so I became a civilian, a fully dedicated Marine Wife, mother and part time back office medical assistant. Married now for 14 years, we have two beautiful daughters, ages 12 and 6. My husband has been in for 19 years and is now a Chief Warrant Officer-3, and after being stationed in northeast Ohio for the past 3 years, the Marine Corps is sending us overseas for our last tour of duty in Okinawa, Japan for t...Expand for more
he next 3 years. These will be the last years of his career before retirement. We will return to the Hill Country of San Antonio to be close to both our families, mine is still in AZ. We are looking forward to this new adventure, Japan has an amazing culture!!! We'll be heading out in late July. I'll miss any 20 year reunions, so I wish everyone well!

Feb 2008 update: Okinawa is amazing! I love the culture, the people, the food and all the cool places to visit, historic monuments from WWII too. There is nothing like it in the states! And driving on the left side of the road is pretty cool too! The kids have good schools, the base is close by and we live off base in a great house overlooking the Pacific Ocean. We just celebrated our 15th anniversary, and Emilio picked up CWO-4. What a great way to retire. We are truly blessed!
