Life
Hey Everyone -
I found out the weekend after the reunion that there was even a reunion! All is well....with me. I left Mt. Vernon my senior year, and moved back to New York/New Jersey for a year. I HATED it! I moved back after I graduated and went to WSU....GO COUGS.
I met my husband there, and got married shortly after college and had two kids, Jake now a Junior and DRIVING...and Alexa now in 7th grade. We settled in Selah, a little town outside Yakima. I moved back to MV for a short while in 1999, got divorced .......and in the meantime met my current husband. We hung around MV until 2000, how did I ever stand the rain????? and when a work opportunity presented itself.....I ran back to the "East side". I am still in Selah, and love the hot summers and snowy cold winters.
I finally got remarried in August 2003 and we are all living happily ever after.....yeah right. I love the small town we live in, and my son is very successful in football, and was one of four Sop...Expand for more
homores to play Varsity his Sophomore year. My daughter is a very talanted dancer and has been on a performance dance team for the last three years. She also plays volleyball. She is into the "boys", and has a cute little boyfriend.
I work as a Freight Broker in Yakima,and love the insaneness of the job! Besides that.....nothing too exciting ever happens. But all in all.....Life is good!
College
I went to WSU and studied English. I went back to school a few years ago and was working on a nother degree in Juvenile Delinquency, but stopped 21 credit short. My english degree has served me well......anyone remember Mr. Beasley and those damn sentences we used to have to diagram :)
We are all die hard Cougar fans ....GO COUGS...I tell my kids "Your a Coug or Mom doesnt pay".
Workplace
I work in the Logistics and Transportation field, and am currently a Freight Broker. I broker with carriers all over the country. I love it. I am always busy and there is never a dull moment.
