Reni's Story
After graduating, it was off to UBC to complete my Nursing degree ( and to experience life in student residence!) On completing my degree, I worked as a pediatric nurse at BC Childrens' hospital, for almost 17 years... oh does time fly... then in 2001, I began my career in Public Health. Still working in the field and enjoying it immensely! Well that's my worklife... during all that, I produced 2 off- spring, my boys... Adam and Dana... now fine young gentlemen, who are well on their way to exciting careers: Adam is a Geological engineer working in Vancouver, and Dana is in his final year of the Motion Picture Arts program, that will hopefully prepare him for...Expand for more
a career in the film industry. I'm a very proud mama! I live in Coquitlam and am very fortunate to have my dad and both my siblings, Robert and Susi, living close by. A very special person in my life over the past 5 years, is Luis... my best friend and my rock! We spend our time travelling to various marathon destinations (Luis is the marathoner!), visiting with family and friends, working on house projects, trialing the ever-expanding brewery venues, and just enjoying life!
I've been able to avoid signing up for facebook, so probably not much in the "loop"... and for that, I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone again at the reunion on Sept 23!
