Hello to all! Wow, 20 years is just around the coner. How did that happen? I have been married for 12 years to Jim Aspinall who I met on one of my (our) many travels. He is from Vermont. I attended UWO briefly. Then went to California to become a Scuba Instructor. I moved to Mexico (Akumal) and lived there for just under 2 years. Went through 5 hurricanes there. Lived on Catalina island for a summer where I met Jim. Left there and went to teach on a live aboard dive boat (SeaFever) which did week trips from Miami to the Bahamas. Went to Boston the live near Jim ( just 1 hurricane and Carrie Hansen was visiting). Taught recreational classes as well as trained local rescue teams. Stayed for 2 years then we packed up and went to St. Maarten. We were there for 5 years and got married there (and experienced 4 hurricanes). n Orlando and have been here in our home 7 years. There have been 4 hurricanes since we have been here although one turned in the last hours before making landfall and did not actually hit here but we still and boared up and made hurricane preparations, so I count it. Last year (2004) we did get the force of 3 of the storms and had a tree on the house. But we carry on, as we all must. I am no longer teaching Scuba, but have started a business of my own. The girls go to school and Jim is the controller for a jewelry company. My mother has brain cancer (diagnosed Aug 2005), and we are praying for the best outcome possible. I look at my children daily with wonder and awe, was I that way?. Why are you doing that?, What were you thinking?, How do you know that?. Where do they get it from...must be their father. Best to everyone...if I was not kind to you...I am soooooo sorry, What brats kids can be. If you were unkind to me... you are forgiven, life is too short. May God bless all our lives everyday.
