I see ministry as a call to embody the infinite mystery of the spiritual essence of the human being. By embody I mean to be a living incarnation of the divine possibility that all life is. To be an Interfaith Minister is to be firmly grounded in oneâs own spiritual practice and at the same time to embody the whole Truth â that all spiritual traditions are righteous and true. It is to honor the diversity of God, humanity and all creation. It is to hear and respond to the voices of Mother Earth, Krishna, Buddha, the Tao, the Hebrew prophets, Jesus, Mohammed⦠and to remain awake, aware and open to new voices that are emergent. God always speaks, we have only to listen.
Together with our fellow souls on this planet, we are creating a new global consciousness. We must make this leap to unity without homogeneity if we are to survive. Mere survival should not be our goal, rather we must look to create a reality where all sentient beings, including the Earth, can thrive.
This leap in consciousness is the greatest revolution humanity has ever known and it is occurring now in the hearts and minds of those ready to make the transformation. My ministry is one of being a cause of this transformation. Whatever form it may take, it is my prayer that we will make the great leap into the abyss of divinity and become who we truly are â ONE.
