Rex's Story

OK things change quickly. In July 2008 I took a job in New York City. You would not believe what company if I told you. We moved to New Jersey and I walk to the train and then take the subway to my job that is off Wall Street. We like being here, the schools are not that great, but the people in our Woodbridge neighborhood are very nice.
My job is interesting and I work with some great people. Charlotte is looking for work and then will start back to school in the fall. Jon is 18 and will graduate H.S. in June. Becky is 10 and likes her friends and school. My oldest son is 26 and just had a baby girl - June Harris. Laurie is 24 and in NC working and going to school. We are looking for a church and new friends.

We were in the DC area for 3 years, now we have moved to New Jersey to take a job in NYC. Never thought I would be taking train into NYC and then the subway each day to get to work, but it is a great job...Expand for more
I enjoy with lots of opportunity. I have great wife that is very brave to encourage me to make this change.
Do you ever feel like you are right where God wants you? Well I think that is where I am right now. I am not sure what is in store for us, but after much prayer and blessing from God I am at peace that I am right where he wants me.
2007
Wife, 4 children, living near DC. Moved from Hobbs after High School to Dallas. Meet Charlotte and married in 1980. First son in 1982. Daughter in 1984. Moved to Lake Texoma in 1985, second son was born. Graduated from UNT in 1994 with B.S. in accounting. Moved back to Dallas and had second daughter. Passed CPA exam. March 2005 moved with Charlotte and Jon and Rebekah to DC area for an adventure. Worked for Deloitte and Touche, now working for Bank in the tax department as the IT guy. Found great chruch and several friends. Good schools for children, beautiful area to live in. more to come.
