Rex's Story
I graduated from Mesa High, Mesa, AZ in 1958 where I played basketball and baseball, went to Eastern Arizona 58-60 where I again played basketball and baseball and then on to Arizona State 60-63 where I played basketball. Went into the Army Reserves in 1963 for 9 years. After my basic training I met my wife Shirley while playing volleyball with the First Methodist Church in Mesa and we were married in 1965 and will be celebrating our 44th Anniversary in September.
We have two child...Expand for more
ren, Tracee 42, and Kip 38. Between them we have 7 grandchildren 4 boy - 3 girls, and Kip and his wife are having twins, 1 ea in July, 2009.
I left Mesa in 1990 and moved to Washington State where I was a Real Estate Broker and in October 2007 we moved to Benbook, Texas to be closer to Shirley's Mother and Sister.
Currently I am selling New Homes for a Builder in our subdivision and playing a little golf when I can. I look forward to EA's 50th reunion next year and ASU's in 2012.
