Rhea's Story

Life My life since high school has been every bit of interesting and challenging all at the same time as the years have rolled along. Many of you I saw at the 20 year class reunion. The 20 year was my first of reunions to attend. I must say that I had a great time. I wish I had been able to attend at least one or two of the others; due to the lost of classmates/friends. The class looked wonderful and I am currently looking forward to the next reunion on a cruise ship. I have a 17 year old daughter and a small dog that weighs about 15 pounds on a good day. The greatest thing that I have done over the years is watch my little girl grow into a beautiful young lady. To those of you that know me, you would know that my father meant a lot to me growing up; well he past away 11 years ago this month. I miss him very much. My mother is alive and doing well. My three siblings are also doing quit well. Though I must admit one thing; all my siblings have managed to get married at least once, where I have managed to remain single, never having been married. Though one day before I leave this green earth I hope to marry my soul-mate. Though I am not married, I am presently dating someone very special in my life. I am very happy. Happy that at the ripe age of forty, that the world still has someone that thinks I am their sun, moon and stars. It is amazing when someone can think so highly of you without all the unnecessary things that we used to think were so important to our lives. The things that I am sure many of us have learned are, not so importa...Expand for more
nt at all. Many of us hope and pray for healthy and happy children/family/friends so that we can continue to grow old with them over the last years God blesses us with so much grace and mercy. For those things especially, I will continue to thank God. I am currently residing in Woodbridge Virginia, where most of you know about an outlet mall called Potomac Mills. Many question if I ever keep any money living so close to the mall; the answer is yes. Eventually the novelty wears off and you search for other places to shop. Even though I am an avid shopper, I am not one that finds herself compelled to constantly be in some ones store, constantly giving them my money. I currently work for a very large company named Northrop Grumman in Alexandria Virginia. I have been there now for five and a half years. Many days I only like the people and others I like the job and the people. In the near future I am planning to go back to school and take some classes. Move back to Maryland and watch my daughter graduate next year from high school. I know she is looking forward to that; just as we did in our junior years. Our junior school year, way back in the day was truly one to remember. Those were some very good days, if I must say so myself. With that statement, I will end by thanking each of my fellow class-mates for a great year and a great 20th class reunion in 2002. Take Care of your selves and hopefully, some very positive changes will hit my bios in the near future. Maybe I’ll fall madly in love and finally get married to my soul-mate.
