Rhett's Story
Life
After David Bowman and I went to Fla immediately following our 1971 highschool graduation, I went on to New Orleans and stayed for 9 months, only to return home and get drafted. I served in the US Army from November 1972-1974. Agent Orange has taken a toll on me and in 2004, I retired from AIG/American General as the number 1 insurance agent in the country. I am currently retired and live in Carrollton, Ga with my wife Kathy.
My son has recently graduated from Stanford University in law school, after graduation from Georgetown University. He now works for a large firm in New York. won Governor's Honors like Rhett, II did and spend her junior year summer at Valsdosta State. We are happy, yall all know how wise I am and smart, possibly some would add ass to the smart, but so what.
Retired is great, hope all of you get the opportunity.
I look forward to seeing many of you in October at our 35 reunion with the class of "72. We can thank Bobby Brown for including us in that and I hope to see alot of you then.
May God bless each of you and I hope and pray for our country on a daily basis, say a prayer for our men in arms, I remember how the war was our time around and just think how that must be. It is not the same as that one and we should all support them and remember that without them, we would not be free today.
