Rhonda's Story

Life My Spouse I met Steve at the Wiegel's store in Powell. He was only 16 (I was 19 and had just had a sad ending to my relationship with my high school sweetheart and forever guy- Ray Jarnigan). Steve worked at the Weigel's store and he walked up to my car one day and kissed me, said bye and walked off. The next day when I got home from work, he was sitting on the street corner waiting for me. We've been together ever since. We dated through his high school days and have now been married for 28 years. Ray and I have kept in contact some over the years and in Feb. 2001, he looked me up on another alumni site. We have finally managed to find the friendship again after all these years. Over the past couple of years, I've gotten REALLY close to Ray and his famly, especially his mom and his son, Matt. My kids all think Ray is COOL - my youngest son says that he thinks he and Ray might be twins. hen I've had a bad day. I'm sure that God brought him back into my life for a reason. I'm not sure exactly what that reason is but I am grateful anyway. I guess all's well that ends well. My Pets We have two dogs: Rocky and Simon My Kids My kids all dream big. My oldest, Daisy says she's going to be a famous singer. She thinks BIG. She moved into an apartment shortly after turning 18 and a month before her 19th birthday, she bought a house! Two weeks before her 20th birthday she got married! She has a LONGG "to-do" list and is checking items off as quickly as she can.My youngest, Boone plans to play professional baseball or be a pro fisherman - he's not QUITE sure yet. The middle child, Eli is going to stay home FOREVER waiting for me and his dad to kick the bucket - he plans to inherit whatever we manage to accumulate between now and then. He's the one that's going to need the most LUCK. We also have "adopted" most of our kid's friends. I have learned to answer to "mom" no matter who yells it out.
