Rhonda's Story

School Let's see...Vaught Moody was my first crush. Joey Howard was the biggest crush. I think everyone knew that. I also had a tiny little crush on Mr. Malley...ssshhh. Don't tell him! Ms. Seals, my English teacher inspired me the most. She was a great teacher, and her encouragement meant a lot to me. Ms. Hickman also made choir a lot of fun. My happiest school memories are of the play, M*A*S*H. Since I had moved here at the beginning of the 11th grade, I didn't know my schoolmates very well. of my classmates better and had a blast. I'll also never forget my first slow dance ever, with James White. I was so scared, I moved like a wooden puppet, but he was very patient and sweet, no matter how many times I stomped his toes. I miss him. If I could do it all over again, the two years I spent at PHS, then yes I would. However, I would do it a bit differently. I wouldn't be so shy and awkward this time. I would do my best to get to know everyone better. There are a lot of really good people in my graduating class, the class of 1977, and I'm proud to know them.
