While I was trying to figure it out My God had already worked it out! I graduated from Mott College and became an Administrative Assistant for the Flint Community School System, retiring after 26 years of service. I am happily married and have 5 children(3 girls & 2 boys) who are all grown now. My youngest daughter is a Minister. I have 14 beautiful grandchildren who are truly the center of my joy! om was diagnosed with cancer in 1997 and my life consisted of taking care of her and my brother as family is of the utmost importance to me. I lost mommy in 1998; my health failed in 2003 causing me to retire early; I lost my brother Pete in 2006. But, I'm still standing! I'm loved beyond compare by my husband, children and grandchildren and I'm totally souled out to God. My two sons 28 & 29 are both getting married this summer to 2 productive, loving, beautiful women whom I love! Life for me is wonderful and I wouldn't change any of my obstacles, heartaches or troubles for anything because they have made me a very strong, Christian black woman !!
