Rhonda's Story
After high school I attended Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne (Degrees in Nursing and Psychology), and married in 1974 (too young, but worked at it for 17 yrs, divorced in 1991). I worked at Fort Wayne State Developmental Center, the Bureau of Developmental Disabilities Services, Parkview Behavioral Health, Med/Surg, Parkview Home Health and Hospice, Easter Seals Arc of Northeast Indiana, and am currently a nurse for Hospice Savannah’s unique inpatient unit .
My life is full and fulfilling. My wonderful husband Steve and I married in 2017, and together have 5 delightful adult children, and 2 amazing granddaughters who bring us much joy! My priority is to have a meaningful ...Expand for more
life through investing in healthy relationships and compassionate service and advocacy. My family, my church community and my nursing work are all integral to that. I enjoy Theatre and Music-- all eras of popular music, classical, Broadway and soft Jazz. I am an Indianapolis Colts, and Indiana Pacers and Fever fan, and now a Savannah Ghost Pirates ECHL fan! I love to read, but am learning to enjoy Steve’s extensive movie collection with him. We live a life we are amazed by every day, on a coastal barrier island between beautiful, historic Savannah, Georgia and relaxing Tybee Island.
