Rhonda's Story
Life
Where to begin? I left behind NJ and went to Northeastern U in Boston and majored in criminal justice. I went from Manalapan, where you know most of the kids your whole life, to a student population of 20K! My intent was to open a private investigation firm. Although most did not know it, I was a private investigator in H.S. and continued to work while in College. Northeastern is a co-op school so by the time I graduated I had 2 1/2 years experience as a private investigator and the "bug" had left me. lost its appeal. Remember the job market back then? Well, off to law school we went in 86. We married in 1990 at Vans (my mother insisted I come home) but settled in Boston. He's a litigator and I'm general counsel for an insurance company. We waited 10 years to have children (5 dating and 5 married). We wanted time to have "fun" and travel. We now have fantastic kids- a daughter, Sydney (7/8/96) and a son, Ben (6/30/00). The funny thing is that we still are having "fun" it is just now with the four of us. We are 1/2 hour from Boston and a 1/2 hour from Providence if anyone is in the area.
