Rhonda's Story

Hi everybody, Got married and had four boys. Went back to school after being out for 20 plus years and now working on a cyber-crime/forensics degree. Still work for the Kansas City Chiefs going on my 18th season in June and now my two youngest boys work there to. One is an apprentice plumber and the other one works in the equipment department. Haven't put photos up yet hope to before to long. Also work in the church choir and play the drums off and on, share that with my sons. I always wanted to be a radiologist when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were wrong. If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have coke a cola, mp 3, and popcorn to be able to deal with the day-to-day. I would have to say my hero is Snoopy, and Mary, mother of Jesus. I think of what Mary went through and know I can to. The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Harry Yoder, because he made everyone laugh. He had a very kind and loving bone in his body. He never saw anybody as being bad, just misguided.. My sports are football, baseball, and gymnastics. I still love to ride horses. In fact I help with an organization for mentally and physically challenge people to ride horses. The most enjoyment I get is watching their eyes light up when the horse is walking...Expand for more
with them on there. If I could improve my home, I'd remodel kitchen and add on a screened in porch. My dream home would be a house out in the country with my horses. How to be patient and not get as mad as easily as my parents did with me. All in all my boys will say they had a really good upbringing. Mom and dad never drank or did drugs in front of them. In fact we don't even drink or do drugs. If I won $100 million, I'd give $1,00,000 of it to the church, then spend the rest on Dream Factory, Horse riding association for the handicapped and my family, probably nothing for me. My current age is 48. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be old and retired. I was so completely wrong. Spent 30 years driving a forklift, now learning something totally different. Working in forensics. My best friend would tell you I'm a crazy mom, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as shy and quite. Yes, I still wear blue jeans and a t-shirt. In fact most of my t-shirts are that of the KC Chiefs. I share my home with my husband, which I find very challenging.. My first job was at General Motors, where I got paid $15.75 an hour to do assembly line work. What I remember most about it is they were very hard on the women. Being the first in my family to graduate from high school.
