Rhonda's Story
I am not sure how or if anyone remembers me, but I never went out of my way for people to notice me. The only one I wanted to notice me, could care less then! I was going to scan in my graduation picture, buy my husband says I look like a back up singer for Cyndi Lauper! Scary!! Anyways, I am married and have children!!
Rebecca will be 14 in two weeks and is loving high school! She made her school's color guard team and is hard at work on their spectacular field show. Lots of practices and lots of work. It is going to be the show to beat. They will be doing some traveling for some competitions and hopefully blowing the other schools and judges out of he water. The show is AMAZING!!! We are building HUGE props!! She just got contacts and now we are looking into bear traps, male hormone seeking missles and a shot gun. I though junior high was bad with boys following her around, now in high school, it has gotten worse!! She is very well liked and guys like that she is pretty and not stuck up!
ReAnna is 12 and is enjoying her time in junior high. She also made her school's color guard team. They march in the parades with Rebecca's school, so they will see each other a bunch. Plus during winter guard they compete at the same competitions, but not against each other. They are also practicing for their big winter guard show and it sounds awesome. She will have a weapon, a rifle or a saber, we do not know which yet. She just got medically necessary contacts. Rebecca's were by choice, ReAnna's were not. She is legally blind in her left eye, so the dr said she would see alot better with contacts. She is very pretty also, but could care less about the boys right now. Thank you!! She is more into hanging out with friends and practicing color guard! She is such a tomboy, but is starting to do the girly girly thing now. She and her sister LOVE make up and doing their hair!! I am just glad they are not snobs in any way!! They are not into name brands and are the most gracious children I know.

husband at work and have been happy ever since. We have been together for six years this May!! Married four in March!! It seems like we have been together forever!
As a family, we travel alot and have seen alot the USA like, National Parks and Church Historical Sites. So far we have been to Mexico, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Yellowstone National Park, Utah(twice and went inside the temple last time!!), Las Vegas, Reno, Laughlin, Colorado, Nebraska, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas City and St Louis (The Arch), MO, Nauvoo and Carthage, IL, New Mexico, Arizona, Los Angeles, Hollywood, San Diego, Redding, Sacramento, Clayton, Fairfield, Pismo, Arroyo Grande, San Luis Obispo, Cambria and Watsonville, CA. We hope to get to Hawaii next year and Florida, New York and North Carolina this summer! We once put 7000 miles on a rental with unlimited mileage!! We also camp and just love to take day trips. We once spent a night on a boat in SF at Pier 39! Awesome!! The Golden Gate Bridge is amazing and so is the Jelly Belly Factory.
I have been working for the same company for the last 16 years. It has changed it's name two times since I started, so sometimes we have an identity crisis. I started with Pacific Bell, who was bought out by SBC, who bought AT&T and then took on the AT&T name. Confused? Trust me, so are we! I am a staff associate in the engineering and construction and finally I love my job!! My office is getting ready to move again! I HATE MOVING!!!
On the side I run a event planning business and help with my husband's cake business. Plus we are the Fundraiser Co Chair for Rebecca's band & color guard team. So we are a busy bunch!! Every night is something or the other!!
I am not sure if I miss high school, but I do know that if I could go back and knowing what I know now, I would have done it ALOT differently. I would have gone out for more sports and tried out for plays. But you never get a second chance, so I try to make sure all my kids have wonderful experiences in school!!
