Ricardo's Story

Life I love to go to auctions and garage sales on weekends. Love a cloudy cool day to enjoy outdoors or in. I deal with IRS Problem Resolution so am always busy during the week. Just went to my 30 year reunion and loved it. There was a closer bond than other times and I kind of missed the ones who didnt show up. Wondering why... update... How do you hope old friends remember you? What was the wildest thing I ever did in school? Cant mention the name or class room that was in... dont think I can confess that even now. But the stink bombs were fun. Dont know about using this story wizard. I believe God inspires us to do good. Former Alter Boy from Mary Help...what can I say? I have lived in Italy, where I served as an interpreter for the man who became Prime Minister. Was fun. Parla Italiano? I guess there are a couple of people I would really like to see at the reunion. Old girlfriends just to catch up on life. It is good to see everyone each time I have been to a reunion though. I wish we would all make time to connect on something like the messengers or something. We come from the same time and place where we formed our ideas and ideals. It is good to visit our past now and then. I hope they remember the good deeds I tried to do daily and how I tried to make sure we were all treated fairly by others. Ex (Boy Scout) Memories...I remember clearly about freshman band in the summer of 72. I had just transferred from United Jr. High and everyone thought I was an alien. My dad was a teacher at Martin and brought me over so he could keep an eye on me. It was probably the best thing since I was a bit on the wild side. I adapted and came to love Martin High and the people in it. I picked up the slang and bad words much quicker than Algebra with Mrs. Garcia. Speaking of math. I think I had ADD when I was a teenager because I had such a hard time focusing, especially when Mrs. Mendiola was writing on the board. She was hot...then when I came back from the Navy and went to LJC guess who my business math teacher had to be...yep Mrs. Mendiola. (geez). my childhood...Expand for more
menory is of the day Kenneday was shot. I was 5 years old and I was playing outside by the old LCC campus when my grandmother and mother started crying loudly. My brother and I ran to see what was wrong and they were watching TV where they had just announced the President had been shot. They told us to run to tell an elderly couple down the street. I was very moved by the way they felt for another person. I hope we do not relive that day with Obama. It was a day I did not love America. Just like Michelle Obama. I have a black lab who lays around all day. He is retired as I wish I could be. I think my biggest surprise in life was learning that all women were not ladies. On what I have learned from my kids...PATIEMCE Which teacher I would love to see again...my dad but that wont be possible until the next life. If I won $100 million, I would buy alot of land somewhere and rebuild Laredo in a better climate and give land to people who really want a new start in a great place maybe in Canada. I did live in a dorm at Texas A & I University during my senior year and was asked to join the Greeks. I turned it down because I had a family and a business and knew that the parties would be hard to resist. To be truly happy I would have my business opportunities of the ground and be living in Canada and traveling down here to keep my tax outlets growing. Other than that, I am truly happy already. Another wizard question...I turned 50 last week and when I was 12 I thought 50 was old. I figured we would be wiser and I was wrong. We are more like old teenagers. Wanting and wishing still. Still working hard on Taxes. I want to sell outlets and teach from now on. Targeting the Hispanic Market. Like other tax outlets but geared to being bilingual and serving this community nation wide. I still wear jeans to the office and sometimes shorts. I had to wear a suit for several years and I dont really care to do that anymore. Like my freedom. I share my home with my wife, son and mother. She is 80 and has cancer. The only thing I would do different in life is try to be a better friend.
