Rich's Story
It’s been a great journey from Enterprise until now. After EHS I graduated from Shasta College.and enlisted in the Air Force. During that time I got married to Cathy Grokenberger (class of 70),traveled all over the world and lived in Europe for two years. After the AF I went back to school on the GI bill and graduated from CSU, Sacramento. I retired in 2014 after having worked for The Travelers insurance company for 35 years and currently live in Denver where I have been for the past 30 years. Cathy and I have two wonderful sons who have grown to be happy, successful men who make us very proud. They have given us four beautiful grandchildren who delight us.

Cathy and I have gone our separate ways. I recently married a wonderful woman who is from Chico. We went to college together, lived on the same street, went to the same places for lunch yet didn’t know each other then. We found each other 40 years later and 1000 miles away in Denver. Ain’t life grand sometimes..?
Over the years I have come to accept that leading a life of gratitude is the best way to be. I am sincerely greatful for the time I spent at EHS and the memories I have, even though I wasn't much of a social person at that time. Life has given me wonderful gifts and for that I give thanks every day. If anyone remembers me I would love to hear from you... Rich
