Rich's Story
Right after graduation I attended Mendocino College. In February, 1975, I began my law enforcement career as a Deputy with the Mendocino County Sheriff's Office.
In July, 1978, I was diagnosed with cancer and was on a leave of absence from work for approximately 18 months. I have a clean bill of health and am proud to say I am a cancer survivor! After returning to work I remained with the Sheriff's Office until 1987.
I married Kristina in May 1984. She is originally from the San Jose/Santa Clara area.
In May, 1987, our daughter Brieann (Brie) was born. She graduated from Mendocino College in May 2008 and will be attending San Jose State in the Spring of 2009.

t back to work for the Mendocino County Probation Department and coordinated the County Wide Gang Suppression Unit. In April 2007, I finally retired from Law Enforcement after 32 years.
In April, 2000, I found my birth-mother and gained a brother and five sisters, along with a very large number of neices, nephews and their children. The most interesting thing about this is that my birth-mother lives in Calpella and has lived in the Ukiah area since 1956. Pretty wild. My siblings graduated from Ukiah High and when I was a senior, my younger sister was a sophomore - I'll fill you all in, if you are intested, at the reunion!
I am know working as the General Manager for Harley-Davidson of Ukiah. Not a bad gig!
