In 2016, Mr. Lovich testified before the United States Senate Commerce Committee concerning the impact of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act on the healthcare industry. In 2020, he was appointed by FCC Chairman Pai to the Hospital Robocall Protection Group, an advisory group developing best practices for voice providers to protect hospitals from illegal robocalls. In 2023 the American Bar Association published 'Health Law Essentials", a book outlining the fundamentals of healthcare law. Mr. Lovich wrote the chapter on litigating hospital claim disputes with insurers. He is admitted to practice before all California state courts; Federal District courts for the Northern, Central, Eastern, and Southern Districts of California, the 9th Circuit Court Of Appeals, as well as the Supreme Court of the United States. He is a graduate of California State University, Northridge (with Honors in Political Science), and Loyola Law School of Los Angeles. Since 1995, he has held a "Preeminent A-V" rating through Martindale-Hubbell, the highest peer review standard available. This rating signifies his peers rank Mr. Lovich at the highest level of professional excellence for legal knowledge, communication skills, and ethical standards. Rich has been recognized as a "Southern California Super Lawyer" since 2011, and is recognized as one of the Nation’s Top One Percent of Attorneys, as selected by the National Association of Distinguished Counsel. In 2012, Rich was named as a Top-Rated Lawyer-Healthcare in the October issues of Corporate Counsel and The American Lawyer magazines. As a National Institute of Trial Advocates Certified Trial Advocacy Instructor, Rich has been responsible for the development, implementation, and presentation of national trial advocacy training programs and has served on national legal audit teams auditing both financial and litigation management requirements for one of the world's largest insurance companies. Rich has written and lectured extensively, as well as provided In-Service programs to countless healthcare industry groups and provider clients on many healthcare topics including case management, appeal strategies, contract interpretation and drafting, and dispute resolution processes. Rich is a native of Los Angeles and has lived there all his life. He is a lifelong Dodger and Sandy Koufax fanatic. He has an extensive collection of sports memorabilia and classic Hollywood autographs and is a big fan of silent movies. His life highlights include being father to 5 daughters and having three grandchildren.

The chew bone is about 2 feet long. Makes Charlie look like a puppy. She polished it off in no time.
Anyone who grew up in LA in the 60's knew The Popeye Show. Tom Hatten in a sailor suit would draw sketches of Popeye and his pals in between cartoons.  He was  the best. Just received his autograph and sketch. A treasure.
