Richard's Story
Richard's schools include Red Land High School. Richard later attended Middlebury College (Sociology/Anthropology, English) in Vermont. He graduated in 1988 then lingered in the Green Mountain state another four years, working for the Stowe Reporter, his introduction to community journalism. where he is currently deputy editor — with occasional "mental health" breaks from the rigors of the weekly newspaper grind. He is married to Yana Salomon, a massage therapist, and they have one son, Griffen McCoy Salomon Anderson, now 9 1/2. Out in Wyoming he skis in the winter, hikes and bikes in the summer, and revels in the beauty of the Northern Rocky Mountains year-round. If you come visit Yellowstone or Grand Teton National Park, track him down! He's pretty easy to find.
