Life
Just a little note to let you all know where I am at now in life since I did not attend the 10 year reunion. When I left Satsuma, which was very shortly after graduation, I went to Tuscaloosa and went to school at UA and kinda played for 4 years. As money was getting low i decided to leave the Chemistry field and switch to nursing and went to Shelton State Community College and got me ADN in nursing.
Once becoming an RN, I went to Nashville and stayed there for 2 years and while there volunteered for the Olympics, and as many of you saw on TV, I got involved with the Centennial Olympic Park Bombing and had my 15 minuts of fame, so to speak.
I then moved to Atlanta and continued to work as a RN and a Paramedic and kinda grew up and learned what it was like to finally live in a city that accepted me as a GAY guy and not look at me differen...Expand for more
tly just because I choose to sleep with other guys in my bed. It was a wonderful time in my life and something I will always cherrish.
I then came back to Alabama to go back to school and moved to Birmingham, where I am today. Since being back in Bama I have completed my Bachelors degree at UAB in Nursing and as of December 17, 2005 I graduated with my Mesters of Nurse Anesthesia from UAB. So I guess I am about to become a CRNA. With that being said, I am also about to relocate to the Northeast for some better job prospects and a exact city has yet to be decided. But I am looking forward to getting back into a city with more fun and social activities and get my life back from the rigors of a masters degree in a degree field that was as tuff as medical school in terms of amount of time studying and time in hospital.
