Richard's Story
I see that I as well as others in our class left school early and enlisted in the military, I joined the Army to see the world and low and behold I did. My first overseas tour was a year in Viet Nam but I also got to see much of Southeast Asia and then on to Colorado Springs, Colo. for the duration of my enlistment. Got out of the Army and married and settled in Colorado Springs for 25 years or so and then moved on to Texas following my job with Mountain Bell/AT&T.

Attended El Paso Community College in Colorado Springs, Colo. and studied welding processes completed high school in the Army through the University of Maryland extention center on Fort Carson. Retired from AT&T in 1989 and after a couple of years doing communications consulting was hired by Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas and eventually retired from SMU as a Infrastructure Design Engineer. Richard works(ed) at any where i want now and love every minute of it.
I have a beautiful bride of 53years this September, 4 children and 14 grand children.... Life is good.
