Richard's Story
Hello; I am Rich Burns class of 72. was involved in music, drama and many things I should not have been involved in during high school. Currently I am living outside of Seattle WA. If you have never beeen out this way I can only describe it as the most beauiful place I have ever seen. O.K. Hawaii is a close second. I was ubelievably fortunate to marry and spend 32 great years with my wonderful wife Ellen (Schatzer) Burns before she took off for Heaven after a thirteen year fight with Cancer. Most of those years she was very active and involved in the life not only of our three children but working along side me as a volunteer with hundreds of kids in our church youth programs. to share with kids things that we went through in high school and helped some of them to see that even in the tough times there is a light at the end of the tunnel. What a rewarding opportunity to give back some of what I have received. Life as a widower is wiered, you have to learn to live alone all over again. One great joy is being able to spoil my only grandson thus far. What a fun little guy. His mom is Japenese so he is bilingual. it is amazing to think that at 4 years old he can not only talk to me but on the computer with his Japenese grandparents.
