Richard's Story
After graduating in 1960, I entered a religious order for a year, left it and enlisted in the Army. Afterwards, I went to college for my BA and MA, and was soon employed with the United Nations for 25 years working in the Middle East, Asia Caribbean and Africa. re-entered the labor market and was hired as the Ex. Dir. for Habitat for Humanity-Aiken.
I am married to Helen, and we have two adult children, Christopher and Caroline.
Finally, I retired from Habitat and I am enjoying the freedom that comes with retirement, and the time to pursue the things I have in my bucket list!!
