Life Born at home 318 Laurel Street, Bridgewater Massachusetts on Thursday, 9:30 p.m., 15 May 1941, Attended the following schools: McElwain and School Street Elementary Schools, Bridgewater Junior High School, Bridgewater High School, graduated from High School on 10 June 1959, Entered United States Air Force on 25 January 1960, Retired from United States Air Force 1 March 1980 as a Master Sergeant (E-7), Assignments were Lackland AFB San Antonio Texas, Sondestrom AB Greenland, Dover AFB Delaware, Aviano AB Italy, McClelland AFB Sacramento Calif, Royal New Zealand Air Force Base Woodbourne Blenheim New Zealand, Wurtsmith AFB, Oscoda Michigan, Whiteman AFB Knob Noster Missouri, Rhein Main AB Frankfurt Germany, Torrejon AB Madrid Spain. While in the Air Force visited England, France, Belgium, Holland, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Morocco. I also visited New Brunswick Canada, Arecibo Puerto Rico, Mexico, Hawaii, American and Western Samoa, Fiji, Tonga, Queensland and New South Wales Australia. Retired from Air Force and now living in beautiful New Zealand. Mother died when I was age 9 and father died when I was age 15. Have 7 sisters, oldest sister Barbara died 12 May 2008 at age 72, only brother Benjamin died 9 July 2000 at age 61, Sister Ruth died 6 August 2012 at age 66, Sister Beatrice died 8 August 2014 at age 65. Sister Elaine died 10 November 2019 at age 79. All my siblings died from cancer. I have a daughter Louise age 53 and son Rodney age 50 and a grandson Phoenix age 22. Married for 53 years to my lovely late wife Lynda Valerie Conway who passed away on 8 June 2022. First marriage was to Bonnie Lee Miller in Bart Pennsylvania on 17 October 1964 and ended in divorce at 10:34 a.m. Wednesday, 6 September 1967 in Reno, Nevada.. t bi-pass operation in 1991. Took early retirement at age 62 and live in a beautiful home on the shores of Waikawa Bay in the Queen Charlotte Sound on the northern tip of the South Island near Picton New Zealand. Still do some odd jobs at home to keep myself busy. In July 2006 I made an around the world trip of 3 months staying in Bridgewater Massachusetts for 3 weeks, from there I went to Frankfurt Germany for a week then on to Madrid Spain for 5 weeks, on to England for a week, back to Madrid to pick up my personal belongings then on to Singapore for a week before heading off to Sydney Australia for a week and back to New Zealand. My next trip was in 2009 back to my home town of Bridgewater Massachusetts for my 50th High School Class Reunion. I returned again in 2019 for my 60th High School Class Reunion in Bridgewater, Massachusetts on 13 July 2019 at the Boston Tavern in Middleboro Massachusetts.. Workplace While in High School I worked after school at the Joppa Grille in East Bridgewater Massachusetts from 1958 to about mid July 1959 washing dishes and pots and pans. I left the Joppa Grille and started work at the Red Rooster Restaurant in Easton Massachusetts doing short orders cooking in 1959. I then worked at Clausens Inn Restaurant on Cape Cod for a few months and then went to work at the Stoughton Diner in Stoughton. I left the Stoughton Diner in January 1960 and Joined the United States Air Force. I made the Air Force my career in Personnel and retired from the Air Force on 1 Mar 1980. I then went to Blenheim New Zealand and worked for AMI Insurance Company for 23 years. I then took retirement at the age of 62 on 30 June 2003. I currently live in a beautiful home on the shores of Waikawa Bay near Picton New Zealand. I have a daughter age 53 a son age 50 and a grandson age 22.
