Richard's Story
Life
Hello to all my classmates. I guess some of you are wondering where I went or What I am doing.
I currently reside on the East side of Kansas City near the Chiefs stadium. Some of you probably knew that I had a daughter born on 8/4/1985. She has since graduated from Belton High and is currently working at a nursing facility in Harrisonville and has plans to go to nursing school.
A lot of changes have occurred in my life since the first class reunion in 1988. I have been married to my wife since 1989 and we met back in 1988 and dated for a few months before getting hitched. She had a son who was 8yrs old when we met, but later passed on in 2000 from complications of Duchenne's MuscularDystrophy. We sinced re-dedicated our life to Jesus(I know hard to believe huh!). We also had a child together and Rikki Renae Davis was born on 12/21/97. She is currently in second 2nd grade this coming school year. She is also in Karate.
Well for the past ten years I have been working as a Kansas City Firemen. I was promoted to Fire Apparatus Driver two (2) years ago. I work at a fire station near my house on 47th & Pittman. Come in and visit and take a tour of our old facility.
I also work part-time fixing bathtub's (What?). A company owned/operated by K.C. Firemen.
My prior years before becoming a firemen was working a security supervisor downtown. I went from being a supervisor to office management where I met my wife.
I currently workout at the fire station and do church/family related things and we sometimes volunteer at the coffee shop located within our church. Feel free to stop in for a cup of java.
