Life Living in Indianapolis Indiana as a professional trombone player. In High School I always knew I wanted to make a career in music, but I really didn't know how. I still don't know how. It's a hard career, but I love it. I get to perform all types of music and with all types of groups; from the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra to the Buselli/Wallarab Jazz Orchestra. I also get to travel a bit with touring groups such as: Smithsonian Jazz Masterworks Orchestra, The Temptations and The 4 Tops. What can I say...life is good! School I usually don't think about High School. We were all going through some rough times. I wasn't the 'coolest' kid, I was a band and orchestra geek. (and proud of it!) However, somehow, I always seemed to date beautiful girls! Being in the band had its advantages!! The band director, Mr. Rogers was by far the most inspirational teacher I had. Not only was he a great teacher, but he was a trombone player (like me) and we could relate to each other on different levels. Another teacher that stands out in my mind is Ms. Spellman.
