Richard's Story
Wow, life truly is like a box of chocolates. Forrest Gump actually knew what he was talking about! Never in a million years would I have guessed I would end up in Yakima, Wa. (I know, where the hell is Yakima. It's about two hours southeast of Seattle.) I went from RHS to the Marines, then to Detroit (home of my first wife. She passed away from cancer in early 2007), to Las Vegas, back to the east coast for a short while, then to California and finally to Yakima, Wa.
I stayed in the reserves after leaving active duty, transferring to the Nevada Army Guard for a few years and then to the retired reserve in 1994. d up. Unfortunately, when you retire from the reserves, you don't get any money until you turn 60, so I have a few more years to go.
I currently work for the City of Yakima as the Public Works Traffic Operations Supervisor. Central Washington has turned out to be a great place to live. The cost of living is low, housing is affordable, and we are only two hours from Seattle. God has blessed me with a lovely new wife and a great job. We also have a new business promoting a fantastic company designed to help entrepreneurs find qualified leads and market their company - either online or offline.
We are looking for associates who would be interested in earning extra money from home. Contact me if you would like to know more.
All in all, life is good. God Bless everyone in the Class of '73.
