Richard's Story
Left high school and joined the Navy in June 1959. Was stationed at Naval Air Station Green Cove Springs, Florida and in 1961 was stationed aboard the Carrier, USS Shangri-La, CVA38 at Mayport , Florida.
Worked at the Kennedy Space Center for 9 years, Fairfax County Goverment, Fairfax, Virginia for 8 years, Department of Veterans Affairs for 16 years and retired in January 1996.

I am the Deputy Grand Knight of Archbishop Hurly Council and nominated to be Grand Knight this July. I am the Comptroller for the Knights of Columbus 4th Degree Holy Trinity Assembly. I am in the Assembly's Honor and Color Guard Unit as a red cape.
I attend Blessed Trinity Catholic Church and serve as a Eucharistic Minister.
My wife Phyllis, of 47 years, Passed away on October 22, 2007. We have 4 children, 14 Grand-children and 2 great grand-children.
