Richard's Story

After graduation, I joined the Army in 1969 and was attached to the 9th Division, 5th field special forces in Viet Nam, 2 purple hearts and bronze star. After the military I attended Alexander Jr. College , UAB, and finally finishing up at Auburn with a BS. I married and have two children a boy and a girl. My son lives in Maryland and daughter lives at Wilmington, N.C. I worked for No...Expand for more
rfolk Southern Railway for 27 years and was in management for 25 with an office in Birmingham and for the last year in Atlanta. Due to Norfolk Southern aquiring ConRail and the stock splitting and downsizing, I was blessed with the oppertunity to take early retirement at the age of 47. So, I moved to Navarre Beach Fl. and now enjoy the water and sun.....( weather permitting ,,,LOL )
