Sue's Story

Sue (Old) Gardner I have been married to Richard Gardner (SME 1962) for 54 years. I lost him to Alzheimer's October 28, 2022. We have two children, Carrie (Gardner) Pillsbury, 53 yo, living in Oswego, Illinois with her husband, and Scott Gardner, 49 yo, married almost 20 years, living in Des Moines, Iowa. December 2007. Carrie delivered our second grandson, Nicholas, on June 17, 2005. Our kids both went to Shawnee Mission West (sorry) and when they moved out, we moved to Olathe, Kansas. I received my paralegal degree and certificate in 1995. Richard worked for Honeywell (aka Allied Signal; aka Bendix). I belong to a Renaissance re-enactment group (The S.C.A) (and I hated history in school! Go figure! I hope to hear from some of you in the future. Sue (Susie)

Just got back from the SCA Clothiers event. All the outfits were beautiful. My seamstress had to take 12 inches off the hip area and about 8 inches off the waist area. Turned out great. The purple is a side less surcoat dat
