Richard's Story
Well I guess the most recent significant event in my life was having gastric by-pass surgery in March 2008. I have since had 2 plastic surgeries for some nip and tuck. As of right now I have lost 180 pounds. I work out at the gym daily and have started running seriously and have been in several road races and will be attempting a half marathon in the fall 2010, just after my 50th birthday. lmost suceeding a suicide attempt in Feb 2006 I am learning to appreciate the small victories in life. I still battle my demons but I am stronger than they are now. I have recently had a "calling' discovered a new path my life will be taking me. I have decided to become a Certified Personal Fitness Trainer. I have been so blessed and lucky, now it's time to give something back. I want to work with obese adults and children. I've been there and know what it's like.
