Richard's Story
Who am I? Factoids? Well, I never fit too much into molds, I guess, in a state of 35,000,000 people there are less than 1,500 persons licensed to own train and rehabilitate birds of prey (falcons and hawks) and I'm one of them, former secretary and board member of the statewide Falconry club, so that fits my non-standard high school personna. Spent ten years elected office (regional water board), twenty five years appointed office (planning commissioner, etc.) invested in real estate, ran a business and inveterately chased women seeking the ideal fabulous woman whom I finally found after about 30 years (and 30 intervening women unfortunately) so, lifes GOOD now! Unimaginable how fortunate I am to have found her glowing eyes and flowing tresses. So now I ranch in Paso Robles, drive and travel pathologically as in the movie "Vanishing Point", still have a home and rental in Inglewood, and thank God almost daily for the life and blessings I've had. us memories of them and my friends therefrom, despite not being the most accepted or popular nerd in the place. Guess I've just been blessed, lived life fast and explored a lot of things, places, learned to fly (airplanes and falcons) hit a few things in real estate, BLEW a lot of others in real estate, enjoyed matchless lifetime friendships with a couple IHS guys. Never really lost the fun in life even while "growing" (whatever that is): i.e. one day I'm on a board of directors or a Planning Commission dealing with heavy stuff like 2,995 new houses/condos to be built on the Hollywood Park land (sadly) the next day I'm wearing goggles hard hat and ear protection and mixing propane and 100% pure oxygen from cylinders to blast pesky gophers out of the ground at the ranch, or just kill them more slowly with my skill-less struggle with my Strat guitar at the ranch. Oh, and buying gold since President Obama is rapidly destroying and devastating the worldwide value of our currency and reputation. Any questions?
