Richard's Story
I love to travel and have traveled to many coutries. Im about 5-7 years from retirement and plan to do a lot of travel thru out the U.S soon. In the meantime Im into improving my home and enjoying family and friends. Im a christian and live by the golden rule. Im employed by the state. I hope my friends remember me as a nice guy. After high school I joined the navy and fulfilled my enlistment as a carpenter/ maintenance tech. After the navy I served a three year apprenticeship to become a journeyman carpenter. for 18 years before becomeing the carpenter for Oak Mountain State Park. That was sixteen years and two promotions ago and now im a Plant Mainenance Supervisor for Jeferson County DHR. My two children are mostly grown. My 20 year old son lives with me when he is at home. My 18 year old daughter has produced a beautiful grand daughter, Lily, for all of us to love. Holidays I spend at my cousins place in Pell City. I dont believe in drama so I dont have much steam to blow off. Ive joined classmates to expand my base of friends.
