Richard "Rick" Knight:  

His schools include Hemet High School. He later attended Merced College (Business/Accounting/Finance), Orange County Business College (Accounting). He works(ed) at Connie Duglin Specialty Linen. Jimm and Rick met through the internet, ISPQ, back in October 2003. After spending a few months chatting via the internet and by phone, they finally set up physical meeting for January 2004. Rick flew to Tampa for a weekend and both knew the decision was right. Rick returned to San Jose, California, to prepare for his relocation to Tampa, Florida. Although, Rick planned his relocation for March or April, a job offer was presented to him that caused a much earlier move – February 2004. He arrived on 21 Feb 2004, and after a weekend stay at a local motel, moved in to his “employer’s” spare bedroom until the house across the street was ready for occupancy. On 08 Mar 2004, Jimm and Rick moved into their new dwelling (together) at 8517 N Ola Ave., Tampa, FL. Life went on as usual – Jimm and Rick working every day, paying bills, enjoying life as much as we could with our limited income. Over the next decade we lived through family members living with us, changes in employment for Rick, and many moves within Tampa/Carrollwood. On 14 February 2008, Jimm and Rick celebrated their love and relationship by having a Handfasting held on Pass-A-Grille Beach in St. Pete Beach, Florida, officiated by Nan Klater. Those in attendance were Jimm, Rick, Linda Villano, Jennifer Hood, Nan Klater and her partner, Gabrielle, who acted as their photographer. After the ceremony, Jimm and Rick took off for a short honeymoon at Disney’s Boardwalk Resort, Walt Disney World, Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
