Richard's Story
May this message find you and your family well and at peace.
About me- I have been retired from University teaching and private sector consulting since June 2011. My life’s work was in emerging technologies and training in Communications Media. In my early years I was able to get a BS, MS, & PhD. Since retirement I continue on new personal enrichment objectives. Winters I stay in Vero Beach, FL for just over 3 months visiting sites, professional friends, alumni, hosting visitors, and attending many local artists’ concerts. I continue doing activities with my closest friends who have increasing become an extended family. I play much golf, bike ride, sport shooting, bowl, attend/watch sporting and concert events. The retirement home I purchased in Indiana, PA August 2012 has been significantly improved and enjoyed. I try to host many parties and do much of the cooking/preparation. I have 3 grown children who are my best friends-
John and wife Dani: John continues to work/manage with Pratt & Whitney as a senior test engineer. His specialty is propulsion. He and his wife live in Southern France for last several years on a cooperative commercial jet engine project. My daughter Jennifer Continues as an Examiner with the U.S. Federal Patent Office in Alexandria, VA. She reviews many emerging innovations in the biological sciences. She resides with her fiancee (Chris). There is much to do in DC when I visit. Youngest son Matt
has his own landscape and gardening business for estates in the Leesburg, VA vicinity. We have hunting, shooting and the love of the outdoors in common.
