Richard's Story

Life Just bought a new house here in metro Atlanta. I live about 5 minutes away from beautiful Lake Lanier. I love spending time with friends and family and with my little neices. Doing volunteer work is also something I look forward to. I love to make a difference in another person's life. I have started teaching in Gwinnett County and have been teaching for about 8 years now. I love my job and wouldn't change for the world. Still single though. School I can't really say I had a big cruch, per se. I was a too busy with band and doing school work to get into relationship drama. LOL The teacher I loved the most was Frank Butler. I could listen to that man talk for hours. He really turned me on to History and it is because of him that I teach history today. My happiest moment at HVJ would probably be, being Drum Major. the worst would have to be when my grandmother died the last day of school in 10th grade. nd room, road trips and general teenage stuff from the halls and clsses. Those were the days. College Went to Mercer for one year. Absolutely HATED IT!!!! Transferred to Florida State and was in the band there, of course. Went on many trips to the Orange Bowl, Sugar Bowl, even went to London. I had a blast at FSU and I recall those blowout football games. Its such a shame we don't beat those ACC teams anymore. Had pretty good roommates. Even spent time with Valerie Keebler and Jimmy Thompson. Still keep in touch with Valerie as she lives in Alabama now. Workplace Still teaching and loving it. Just got a huge pay raise and am doing well. I have finished my Master's and hope to become an Assistant Principal someday soon and on to the School board after that. We will see. Military LOL I have to laugh at this. Could any of you EVER see me in the military??? Please...I dont think so. LOL Although I do support the troops, doesnt mean I want to be one.
