Richard's Story

I left for the Army in July of 65 leaving behind the love of my life.By the time I came back, she was the love of someone elses. JJ I'll never forget you. Anyway decided to make the Army a career. Went to Electronics school and worked on Air Defense Weapons systems for 20 years. I had the proud opportunity of being th Officer who fired the first Patriot Missile the Army Had. vorced in 1981. Got remarried in 1981 and have two more children and looking at 29 year anniversary in March. I worked as an Engineer for 13 years after I retired from the Army in 1985 and have been a manager in a bowling center for the last ten years. I will retire for good in July and plan to golf my life away if the good Lord allows it!! Thanks to my wife Sandy for tolerating me. I have always been a tough pill to swallow.
