Richard's Story
After high school I went to Taft College in California & got 2 year degree. Worked contruction in Montana afterwards & then returned to Kodiak & worked construction until 1990.
In 1990 I started working for Samson Tug & Barge & have been working in the barge freight business ever since. In 2002 I moved my family to Anchorage & went to work for one of the Lynden companies (Alaska West Express) as the Whittier Terminal Manager for a weekly rail/cargo barge operation.

ert in 1996. We have 2 sons ages 9 & 7. We are very happily married & enjoy living in Anchorage. My sons are great kids & very well mannered.
I always look forward to going camping with my family in the summer. We have a 29' travel trailer & usually make at least 6 trips to various state campgrounds during the summer & go fishing & hiking while we're there.
We attend Change Point church each sunday (unless we're camping).
