Richard's Story
I attended GMH from 1962-1965. I graduated from High School in 1966 in Maine. During my Years at GMH I was active in sports ( Track and CC) and was an average student. My Step-Father was career Navy and we had a large family.
After high school I enlisted in the United States Army Security Agency and did tours of duty in Georgia, Virginia, Okinawa, and Japan between 1966-1970.
71-75 I attended the University of Maine and majored in Criminal Justice and Political Science.

18 Years as a college professor. During that time I was a Program coordinator for Justice Studies, an Executive Director of a Community Policeing Institute for the State of Maine, a State, National and International Police instructor.
Tours of duty in International policing included: Ethiopia, Kenya, Philippine Islands and I wrapped up my academic tour embedded with a Joint Anti-terrorism Task Force in the Southern Philippines.
I am now fully retired and still married to the gal I met in high school in Maine. Been Married for 46 years, 2 children and five grandchildren.
Its been a good life with plenty of action.
