Richard's Story
After graduating from Bishop Kenny, I studied a Liberal Arts curriculum at Florida State University in Tallahassee. I then spent a few years in Atlanta and Portland Oregon before moving to San Francisco in the mid-late 1970s, where I lived in the Haight-Ashbury area for many years.
I've been in the Information Technology industry since I moved to the Bay Area, mostly as a consultant. Because Silicon Valley is nearby, I've been able to work with fun clients like eBay and Netflix. I've also had...Expand for more
the opportunity to work throughout the U.S.and Canada as well as overseas in places like Hong Kong and Sweden. Currently I'm self-employed working as a financial educator and advisor.
I met my wife in the 1990s at a client site. Jean and I were married on January 1, 2000 to start the new millennium together. We now live in the San Francisco East Bay hills. We both love to travel and have visited more than 30 countries across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, South America, and northern Africa.
