Richard's Story
Time has gone so quickly! I attended Lowell Tech and UMass Lowell, May 1971 - May 1976, majoring in Meteorology and Mechanical Engineering. I also hold a Masters degree from the University of Southern California. At Lowell I was commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant via the US Air Force Reserve Officer's Training Course and was assigned to the Air Force Flight School Program. I retired in 1996 having served 20+ years of active duty service (eleven in worldwide instructor navigator duties and nine in Joint Military Intelligence, specializing in mapping, charting, and geodesy).

ntimely passing of my second wife, Mercedes. Now contemplating new and fun things to do. I've moved on from my past and have forgiven life's misfortunes. Forgiveness has yielded positive benefits.
So, I've retired twice and married twice... divorced in 1996, remarried 2000, then widowed in 2009. I have one son, Jason, from my first marriage, and three step daughters from my second marriage living in Europe. My son and I have resided at our home in Centreville, Northern Virginia since 1987. We relocated here after an extended Air Force tour of duty in the Oxfordshire region of England.
