After High School, I did 5 years at Purdue and got an A.A.S. and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering Technology. I then went to work for a manufacturing company that specialized in equipment for Agriculture and Ag Research Companies. I managed their electronics division and did everything from developing and testing new products to repairs and customer support. Yes, most of the time it was just me, but it was a great learning experience. After a couple of years, I went to work for Purdue's Ag and Biological Engineering Department. I had a huge title, but basically I assisted Grad students and their Professors with their research projects. They came to me with what kind of data they were wanting to collect and I designed a way of collecting it. Rather it be using Labview, VB or VC to interface with data acquisition hardware or building custom electronics. After marrying my beautiful wife, Kristen, we moved to Wheaton, IL. We met in Tae Kwon Do while I was still in College and dated for about 6 years. She was starting a new job. I had a week during vacation to find a house, get a loan and find a job. Yes, God was definitely looking over us and does provide. We found a house and after landing a job, the bank was a little less nervous in giving us a mortgage.
