Richard's Story
Life
I left Urbana when I was 17 yrs old and joined the United States Army. I spent 21 yrs and 3 months in the service and retired on 31 Jan 1989. I am currently working for the Department of Defense as a Computer Specialist. I am married and have one son by a previous marriage and a step-son by my current wife. We live in a small community of about 1200 people (including a few cows, actually there are more cows than people). We live approximately 27 miles from my work. e summers we go to the Rodeos or drive through the Mountains looking for GEMS such as, Rubies, Saphirres, or even gold. Well I have finally retired for good. We now spend our time going to Hockey tournaments for our Grandson. For the last ten years or so, I have been searching our family tree. I have accumulated approximately 2400 people in the tree.
