Richard's Story
Life
I try not to be mediocre about life. I've jumped out of planes for leisure, climbed Mt Fuji in Japan to reading political theory for fun. Currently, my family consist of four beautiful girls(1 set of twins) and one son. With this bunch, pets aren't allowed. I've been blessed to travel half-way around the world, and married to the most beautiful woman. I've been working in the computer industry for the past 10 years and been thinking about various career opportunites. I Âm currently pursuing a career with the US State Dept and contemplating seeking a post-poned law degree. Back in 1990, after obtaining my BS, I was pursuing admittance in law school, but met my current wife and married. It was a good choice. But, I'm longing academia once again.
In elementary school, my nickname was Ricky which had to get rid of immediately as a teen. I do remember the strong crush I had for MH at Ridge Ave elementary school in Darby, PA. The world seems so different from child to adult, the struggles ...Expand for more
of life experiences tend to wash away some of those fond memories.
Going to high school during the seventies was a blast! I was able to find my passion, it was music I fell in love with the bass guitar. Suddenly, the world opened up to me and I became more focused. I thought if I can't play the bass, I'd rather die. Well, I'm not playing the bass at this point or dead, life gives you many distractions. I had a strong crush for AB.
At this time of my life, I try to think more of others than myself.
School
I went to Ridge Ave Elementary School in Darby,Pa - Glenolden Jr. High. and Abingtin HS in Abington, PA. I had experiences in all the above schools in which were good and bad. But, having to go over again, I would probably intensify it a bit more. May biggest crush was in high school.
Military
OOH-RAH! Tour in Japan, and Korea with 2nd Battalion Marine Division. NATO cruise with 2nd Maine Amp.Unit.
Three years - Naples, Italy - Loved every aspect of that country (US Navy)
