Richard's Story
School
I graduated from Apple Valley High School in 1974, even though I lived in Adelanto. My family had moved during the summer before my senior year and I had to drive across the valley everyday. I didn't want to change schools again; I had already attended 9 since kindergarten.
College
Received AA in Liberal Arts from Victor Valley College in 1990. Attended C...Expand for more
al State San Bernadino for one quarter in 1991, then transferred to the University of Arizona where I received my BA in geography in 1994. Did 2 more years for a secondary teaching certificate and a minor in geology and finished it all up in 1996. I currently teach Earth Science at the high school level during the day, and geology at the local community college at night
