Richard's Story
After high school I joined the Navy for four years. Married Vickie Simpson got out of the Navy in 1962 and became a policeman for awhile in Jacksonville and then got a job with Carolina Telephone.Seperated form Vickie in 1965 and moved to Swansboro. Joined back up in the Navy Seabees in 1967. Went to Vietnam twice and got out in 1969 and moved back to Swansboro and went back to work for Carolina Telephone. married. Worked for the telephone company until 1982 than went to work atCherry point for the government. Got divorced again in1985. I learned my lesson and now just live with someone. I retired in 2007 and now just play golf and goof around. Not a very good legacy but I have had some good times in my life.
