Rick's Story
Well, I took the time to move the military bio to my military page and here's what happened to me since graduation. I went to Mountain View Jr. College for a year, got married, worked a several places and ended up at Elixir Ind. in shipping and receiving. I got divorced in 1977 (no kids from that one!), got my life back together and married in 1980 to a girl I met at a singles Bible study in Oak Cliff. Went to work for Alumax Ind. in Mansfield, was then transferred to Southern California.

n, Justin was born. 14 months later, Jacob came along.
After 23 years of mostly playing "Marine" - as I served most of my time with them, we moved home to "Midlothian East" which is what Waxahachie has become with so many of our classmates now living there. I looked around for a job for a couple of months, gave up and went to Baghdad for three months. After getting home I went to work selling parts at the Honda shop in Ennis for six months and then worked for Ellis County for five years. I got laid off and decided to take the hint and retired permanently. I'm a Patriot Guard Rider and attend the funerals of our fallen Armed Forces, Veterans and first responders. Yeah, every day... What can I say? It keeps me out of the bingo halls. Who would have thought, 50 years later and I'm still on a motorcycle every day.!
Our two sons are both now Naval officers and as of June 2021, we have five grandsons - four Hawaiians and one Yankee. We obviously travel a lot visiting them, but also love our European river cruises.
